Tiffany Evans (born August 4, 1992) is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and dancer.
Biography
Evans was born on August 4, 1992 in Bronx, New York and is the seventh of 10 children born to Carol and Lonnie Evans. Before she achieved success, she and her family were homeless and living in their van for years. In February 2003, on her fourth Star Search appearance, Evans won the Grand Champion title in the junior singer division, becoming the only performer in "Star Search" history to receive perfect five scores on all of her appearances. In the competition, Evans competed against fellow singers Lisa Tucker and David Archuleta, both later appearing on American Idol. Tiffany has starred in an episode of Law and Order SVU, playing Blair Underwood's daughter. That same year, she sang for executives at Columbia Records and was quickly offered a deal. With her musical career already on the upswing, she landed a small role on CBS's "The District" and appeared in the 2005 film, Diary of a Mad Black Woman.

She released her first single Promise Ring featuring Grammy Nominated R&B Songstress Ciara. The song failed to chart the US Billboard Hot 100 though charted at #66 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs. A second single I'm Grown featuring Bow Wow did not chart.
Her debut album Tiffany Evans was released April 22, 2008 via Columbia Records. She worked with Rodney Jerkins, Soulshock & Karlin and RedOne. The album failed to have success with it peaking at #134 on the Billboard 200 though was well received by critics. Though having little success with the charts the album has sold 200,000 copies worldwide to date. The third single Lay Back & Chill was planned for release but instead she begun work on her sophomore album.
Ms. Tiffany
Tiffany begun work on her sophomore album in 2008 with a working title of Ponytail Krush. The album is targeted for a 2010 release via Columbia Records. A demo titled Spotlight was leaked to the internet in 2009 receiving mixed reviews. It is unknown if the song will appear on the album.
Tiffany describes the album as a coming of age project, calling it an “emancipating experience”. She revealed in an interview in 2009 commenting on the album saying “When I sat down with the record label, I told them I did not want to be limited in the type of songs I recorded this time around. I want to make music for every one. I describe this album like turning a radio dial and no matter what type of music the station plays, you can find a Ms. Tiffany record on the playlist.”
With plans to record the album in a universal styling she comments "Any and everybody has a story. No matter the age, male or female - we all have stories, and I am willing and so ready to have all come into my life and see the reality on things. This album in my eyes is a classic, and I can't wait for the world to hear what's in store. Now that I have completely taken control of my career, and life, I have so much to release out of me. You have no idea."
